Webster, Chamberlain & Bean, LLP is the leading DC law firm specializing in the provision of a full range of legal services to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. We are seeking a Mid-Level Tax Associate Attorney living in the DMV area with expertise in tax-exempt law. Some travel for clients is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS

• JD degree from an accredited US law school with a high level of academic achievement.
• 6+ years of progressive legal experience.
• LLM in tax is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in transactional law.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: IRS and/or Tax Court, election law and lobbying registration knowledge, contracts, leases, charitable state registration, antitrust, corporate governance, corporate compliance, trademark, data protection, privacy, employment law, pension and benefit plans.

Skills Requirements:

• Strong analytical, writing, research, legal analysis and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibit exceptional attention to detail with the ability to review and edit large documents.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver practical advice under tight deadlines.
• Must have consensus-building skills and a proactive mindset to assert positions confidently plus the ability to build strong, supportive client rapport.
