Part-Time Charitable Registration Intern

About the Role

Opportunity to learn and comprehend charitable law. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Mail out completed charitable state registration filing form packets
  • Scan documents to respective client file folders
  • Cut checks for charitable state registration filing fee
  • Purge file cabinets of out-of-date paperwork
  • Sort, Scan & Email all Charitable mail to the team and respective attorneys
  • File necessary Charitable mail into client folders in filing cabinets
  • Oversee former client file retention
  • Enter charitable MasterCard charges for monthly reconciliation

This position requires:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills, and the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks under strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • A positive attitude, as well as the desire to be a support team member
  • Capable of maintaining complete confidentiality
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required before the start date

This position requires in-office with flexible hours between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 20 to 29 hours per week during the summer. This part-time position is available year-round and extending employment will be open for discussion at the end of the summer.

Experience

  • 1+ year of work experience, professional office experience preferred
  • Current college students encouraged to apply
